Here are step-by-step instructions on how to mark emails as safe for the top 4 email service providers:
1. Gmail
To mark emails as safe in Gmail:
- Open Gmail and log into your account.
- Find an email from the sender you want to mark as safe.
- Drag the email to the Primary tab at the top of your inbox. Gmail will ask if you want to do this for future emails from this sender—select Yes.
- Alternatively, you can:
- Open the email.
- Click on the three dots in the top-right corner of the email.
- Select Add [sender] to contacts list.
2. Outlook (Web)
To mark emails as safe in Outlook:
- Open Outlook and log into your account.
- Find an email from the sender you want to mark as safe.
- Right-click on the email and select Mark as not junk.
To add a sender to your safe senders list:
- Click the gear icon in the top-right corner and select View all Outlook settings.
- Go to Junk email under Mail.
- In the Safe senders and domains section, click Add.
