Feel like You’re Selling Air? 3 Tips to Stand Out in the New Era

Sis – Do you ever feel like you’re selling air when you go to talk about your mentorship programs?

If so, it’s time you experience a mindset shift & feel amazing about what you’re offering your clients.

I’m inviting you to stand in your values, so you feel…

  • Strong & confident leading your business
  • Comfortable raising your rates & charging what you’re worth
  • Ready to serve your clients & feel good about what you’re offering

…because you have a big gift to offer the world & your ideal clients are waiting for you!

Here are my 3 tips to stand in your value & transform the fear that you’re “selling air”… into a deep knowingness that you’ve been called to bring this gift at this important moment.

TIP#1. Create a Package that Solves a Problem (Especially in this new Era)

I’m not a theologian, but if you read the great spiritual texts… from the Bhagavad Gita to the Bible – they all point to a similar truth: Prosperity follows order.

When we honor our clients’ future investment with structure, clarity, and conscious stewardship, we participate in the natural flow of abundance itself.

The first step to feeling confident in your value is to think about how you’re packaging your services (prosperity follows order). The way you’re organizing your offerings has everything to do with how much you can charge.

There’s a theme in many spiritual texts throughout history that states, “money loves order.” When you create a container for your services, you’ll be able to attract more paying clients.

Here are some questions to ask yourself when designing your packages and programs – especially in this new AI era where information is everywhere, but transformation is rare.

  • What are the topics I want to explore with my clients (not just content – but exploration)
  • What tangible outcomes do I want my clients to achieve?
  • What’s the step-by-step client roadmap or journey inside my program?
  • How can I build in the experiential exercises & connection – that people are craving in this new era.

As you create, remember: your clients aren’t investing in you – they’re investing in themselves and in the transformation your work unlocks.

AI can deliver information in seconds, but only you can hold space for deep breakthroughs, emotional connection, and embodied change.

That’s what makes your program magnetic and future-proof in this new landscape.

That leads me to the next TIP…

TIP #2. Ramp Up Belief in Your Commitment…Not Just Your Offer

You may have heard that it’s important to ramp up belief in your offer…but that’s not always easy to do, especially if you’ve never presented your offer before!

That’s why I’m encouraging you to focus on ramping up belief in your commitment.

Before you can truly feel confident in your programs and your offer, you have to be able to stand in your commitment to your clients & business.

Tune into the trust that you have for yourself and your willingness to show up and do whatever it takes (even when it feels scary and intimidating!)

Remember you’re showing up for your clients’ transformation.

That’s the reason why you started your business in the first place, right?

Showing up doesn’t mean….

  • Knowing the answer to every question
  • Leading your program perfectly
  • Having it all figured out

….it means putting a stake in the ground for your clients to become better versions of themselves through the service you’re offering!

And I for one know, that if you put your mind to it – that’s a commitment you can make.

Tip #3: Build Your Program with Client Feedback

As you’re creating your programs, realize it’s also important to be willing to build the plane as you’re flying it.

You’ll want to have your structure, roadmap, and themes…but don’t worry about filling out every single handout and module before you put a client through the process.

Here’s why.

Your clients are a huge part of the program creation process! It’s a good idea for you to ask them…

  • What do you want to learn about this topic?
  • What questions do you have?
  • What do you want to know within this theme?

I’ve seen many programs come out stronger as a result of building out the program as real life human beings are inside of it.

Here’s an example. One of my clients is an amazing love coach named Junie Moon. She planned to create a module about online dating in her program, and she wasn’t sure what her clients wanted to know about this topic.

So she asked them! She collected their top 10 questions and used their feedback to build a content-rich module that was a huge success.

Remember, you want to position yourself as one step ahead of your clients….not 10 steps ahead of being your clients.

Now that you know the 3 tips to stand in your value and stop feeling like you’re selling air, let’s recap:

#1. Get clear on your packaging.

#2. Trust yourself & commit to your gift.

#3.  Build your program as you go.

And then drop a comment:
How do you want to feel about your programs and the way you serve?
