Happy Birthday to Me

Hi Sister!

I just celebrated my 49th Birthday on Friday, February 21.
I can’t believe I’m almost 50.

Does anyone else ever feel that way? Like… where did all those years go?
I’m just getting started! Inside myself, I’m like only 29 years old lol.
I’m sure a few of my visionary readers can relate.

And, it’s a crazy moment to be alive. The world surprises me every day.
There are days that showing up in leadership inside of a world that seems so out of balance stretches me beyond what I thought was possible.

But you keep showing up.

And – in showing up for the women I get to work with (YOU), I’ve received more than I ever thought possible. I couldn’t BE who I am… without… YOU.

Like my friend Claire Zammit says… we don’t become ourselves, by ourselves.

With every person whose life we touch, we grow. With every entrepreneur who dares to dream bigger, we expand.

With every moment of service, we come home to ourselves.

A business as a path to self-actualization

Growing a mission-driven business is one of the greatest journeys of self-actualization. It challenges you. It stretches you. It calls you to rise into your highest potential. The more we step into service, the more we activate parts of ourselves we didn’t even know were waiting to be discovered. And isn’t that what life is really about? Becoming more of who we truly are?

Just look at the great leaders of our time—Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King Jr. They weren’t driven by status or accolades; they were fueled by purpose. They lived in service to something bigger than themselves, and in that service, they became the fullest expressions of their souls.

If you’ve ever questioned whether your work matters, let this be your reminder: It does. The path of entrepreneurship is not just about building a business—it’s about building you. Every client you impact, every lesson you learn, every challenge you overcome is sculpting you into the person you’re destined to be.

Three Ways to Keep Growing While Serving

(A few things I’ve learned in my 49 years hahahaaa)

  1. Give Beyond Comfort – The moments that stretch you are the moments that shape you. Lean into service, even when it feels inconvenient. The more you pour into others, the more you expand your own capacity.
  2. Stay in the Room When It’s Hard – Growth doesn’t happen when things are easy; it happens when you show up anyway. When fear, doubt, or imposter syndrome creep in, don’t retreat. Lean in. The person you’re becoming is forged in those moments.
  3. Remember That You’re Not Just Building a Business—You’re Building a Life.
Your business is a vehicle, but your being is the destination. Align your work with your soul. Let service be your compass. The joy you seek is already woven into the lives you touch.

The journey is worth every step.
