5 Things To Look For When Investing In A Program

Have you ever invested thousands and thousands of dollars on programs that just didn’t get you the kinds of results you were looking for?

If so, I want you to know I get it and I know how frustrating it can be.

But please, don’t give up on yourself and your dreams. Don’t give up on getting support.

Having a mentor – and honestly, having many different mentors along my path over the years (and often, having several mentors at once) – has been the #1 key to my success. The #1 key to growing a multi-million dollar company that reaches over 100,000 women around the world.

So, if your past investments and experiences with programs that didn’t work for you have left a bad taste in your mouth, and you’re thinking of going at it alone, this is for you…

(Skip the read and check out my latest video here, “Have you ever tried programs that haven’t worked?”)

Here’s the thing: I’m not looking to blame or point fingers at anyone’s programs. Not at all. That wouldn’t serve us. What I am doing is putting a stake in the ground for YOU and your success. Mentorship – when you know how to pick the right one and the right programs for YOU – can make all the difference.

Here are the 5 things – I consider them the 5 “must-haves” – to look for when investing in your next program/mentor.

What To Look For When Investing In Programs/Mentors

  1. EXPERIENTIAL/LIVE COMPONENT
The majority of us on the planet – 70-80% of us – are verbal processors; we learn experientially. Make sure your next program has a LIVE element to it so you have a place to go to get your questions answered and the coaching you require to go beyond your comfort zone.
  2. CHOOSE MENTORS YOU CAN RELATE TO
What’s important to you? What are your values? Make sure you choose a mentor who models those; who you relate to; who you can see modeling to create your own unique success.
  3. COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT YOU
Having community there to support you, hold you accountable and encourage you to keep going in the marathon of growing a business is as essential as having a mentor.
  4. CLEAR CONTAINER OF SUPPORT
It takes longer than 4 weeks or 90 days to grow a business. That’s why I prefer year-long programs. You want a container of support that is there for you through the ebb and flow of your growth cycles so you can create long-lasting, sustainable change.
  5. HIRE A MENTOR WHO CAN PULL YOU FORWARD
If you want to grow a $6-figure company, hire a coach who is earning $7-figures. Invest in someone who can see a bigger vision for you than perhaps you can even see for yourself… at first. You want someone who will inspire you FORWARD, not someone at your same level.

Sister, you have the potential to go as big as you want to go in your lifetime, in your business, your health, your relationships, and your wealth. This is not the time to play small. It’s time to become the whole, grounded, centered, incredible woman that you are and join hands together so we can make the difference we’re here to make.

Remember: when you partner your mission with a mentor, you become unstoppable. No matter what, don’t give up on yourself.
