My Journey: From Schoolteacher to 7-Figure CEO

I come from a long line of schoolteachers.

I took the leap and left teaching. Like any other spiritual-seeking, slightly crazy young woman in her 30s, I moved to California and began to search for what was next for me.

I did vision quests, yoga teacher trainings, Reiki master trainings, Pranic healing facilitator trainings, life coach trainings, purpose trainings…

During that time, I had a spiritual awakening of sorts.
And it turned out to be quite painful, disorienting, and inconvenient, I might add.

I ran out of money and found myself trapped in a marriage that wasn’t working—partly because I had changed so much. I was in debt, trying to start my business, and financially dependent on my husband.

I’ll never forget what my mom always told me:
“Don’t ever allow yourself to be dependent on a man for money.”

And yet, there I was—trapped in a disempowering situation because of money.

So I made a deal with God.
I said, “If I can find my way out, if the Universe will help me, I’ll help as many women as I can heal their stories around money.”

And right then and there, I had the idea that would bring me my first six figures as a coach for women business owners.

I launched an online project.
I got to work.
And in the years since, I’ve trained thousands of mentors, coaches, consultants, and healers. I’ve mentored realtors, artists, day spa owners, and other incredible women in business.
I paid off my debt.
And my company has now generated millions in revenue.
