Tips From the Six-Figure Structure Queen

I was just at a gathering with a bunch of my Mastermind partners at Jeff Walker’s Secret Headquarters in Durango, CO… and I had an opportunity to learn from the structure queen, Melinda Cohan…

WOW – Melinda gave me some incredible tips I want to share with you.

You’ve heard that being a free spirit takes great discipline. In other words, if you want true freedom in your business…

You have to put the structures in place that can take care of people when you’re not around. That way you can serve clients and make money even when you want to go for a hike, take a nap, or catch a wave!

For instance, if you don’t have a scheduling system set up online, you’re likely wasting a bunch of time going back-and-forth trying to figure out when to meet with clients or business colleagues.

I recommend a system called Timetrade, where you can get going with an online scheduling system for right around $30-$50 per year, and you’ll save hours of time going back-and-forth!

Another hot tip is obvious but comes with an added bonus strategy… Hire an assistant (obvious) but here’s the hot strategy: tell your assistant straight up that you’re still figuring things out. You’re going to need their help figuring things out right alongside you.

The advantage of this to them is that they are going to be a part of building something from the ground up, and they will have a lot more flexibility then if they worked a normal J-O-B.

But here’s the great strategy… Ask your assistant to create the operating manual for their position. That way if anything happens with them, you’ll already have the training manual for your next person, or if your business grows and they stick around, they will be creating a training manual for future team members so that they can move up the ranks to higher level tasks.
