If you love to teach but still feel unsure how to turn your gift into a thriving business—or you’ve made a few sales but haven’t quite built the momentum you crave—you’re not alone.
I made this video on turning your passion for teaching into clients…
So many heart-centered women are incredible at teaching, mentoring, guiding… but struggle when it comes to monetizing those gifts online. You might be asking:
I get it. Because not long ago, I was in your shoes.
I was a schoolteacher (taught mostly high school science!) with a whiteboard full of ideas and a burning desire to make a bigger impact. But even after giving my all to my students, I knew I was meant to serve beyond the four walls of a classroom.
I took a leap—and at first, I didn’t know what I was doing and went into debt, but I kept at it and… slowly but surely—turned my teaching gifts into a multi-million-dollar coaching and training company, empowering thousands of women to launch and scale businesses they love.
If you’re a teacher at heart, you already have one of the most powerful skill sets for entrepreneurship. And it’s not about becoming someone else—it’s about amplifying who you already are.
Here are three powerful keys that helped me (and the women I’ve coached) turn passion into profit—and create ripple effects that change lives.
You already know your work changes lives. What’s next is stepping into thought leadership. Your ability to educate, communicate clearly, and simplify complex ideas is your business superpower.
If you’ve ever broken down a concept so someone could finally get it, if you’ve inspired someone to believe in themselves, or guided someone step-by-step to success… guess what? You’re not just a teacher. You’re a transformational leader.
When I stepped out of the classroom and onto my first virtual stage, I realized: I wasn’t leaving teaching behind. I was expanding it.
Action Step: Begin framing your offers and content around leadership outcomes—what does following your process allow clients to become or embody?
If you’ve already made your first $5K, you’ve delivered results. Now it’s time to codify your process. This is where you shift from “charging for your time” to building intellectual property that scales.
I didn’t start with a fancy degree in business. I started with a deep desire to serve, a few sticky notes on my wall, and the drive to package what I knew into a system.
Whether you’ve helped clients heal, build confidence, grow revenue, or reclaim their voice—you have repeatable gold. Own it. Systemize it.
Action Step: Clarify the 3–5 repeatable steps you take clients through and begin naming your methodology. Frameworks build credibility—and premium offers.
This is the one that changed my life—and it’s likely shifting everything for you now.
You’ve made your first sales. That means your business is not just an idea—it’s a movement in motion. Now is the time to align your pricing and programs with the true value you’re providing.
Your gift deserves to be resourced. When you charge for your services, you create greater transformation for your clients. You also free yourself up to scale your impact and reinvest in your mission.
Action Step: Audit your current offer. Is it priced in a way that reflects the results you create? Are you building toward a signature program that can scale?
Final Words:
From schoolteacher to CEO, my journey wasn’t a straight line—but it was fueled by one thing: a deep love of teaching and an even deeper calling to make a bigger impact.
If you’ve already taken that first brave step and created your first $5K—you’re not just testing the waters anymore. You’re in the game. And I want you to hear this from my heart: You have what it takes to go all the way.
The world needs more women like you—women with passion, purpose, and a message that matters. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to have it all mapped out. You just have to keep saying yes. Yes to your mission. Yes to your voice. Yes to the women who are already praying for the solution you carry.
You’re not behind. You’re right on time. Keep going. I’m standing with you.
Let’s do this thing…together.
Love,
Sage
