What’s Your Superpower Shadow?

If you’ve taken my Speaker Superpower Quiz, you know that you have a speaker superpower within you. 

But did you know that your superpower has a shadow?

In today’s quick training, I’m diving into WHY you have a superpower shadow and HOW to leverage it in your business.

Your superpower shadow is the inverse of your superpower.

It’s the pain, the trauma, or the journey behind why you have this incredible gift to share with the world. 

I’ll use mine as an example.

I was bullied and awkward as a kid. I didn’t feel like I belonged anywhere. I became deeply aware of what it felt like to be excluded and betrayed. I didn’t know it at the time, but this was my superpower shadow – the origin of the vision that I hold today. 

So I set out to create a space where women could feel a sense of community, belonging, and sisterhood… and I created a global training community of over 400,000 women entrepreneurs. 

Here’s your work to do this week, sister.

Claim your superpower AND your shadow. Know that you can’t fully own your superpower until you realize that it was carved in the flames of challenge and hard times.

Challenge those old triggers that tell you…

“I’m not good enough.”
“I’ll end up alone.”
“I will fail.”
“If I become successful, people will leave me.”
“I can’t do this.”’

Instead, get to the front side of your shadow.
Use your whole heart as you navigate your journey in business.
Take extra time this week to make sure your needs are met.
Move your body.
Do things that make you feel on purpose. (If you’re a woman entrepreneur, this means investing in your business!)
